Performance optimization of J1939 cable under extreme working conditions
Targeted performance optimization is required for the application of J1939 cables in extreme environments to ensure communication continuity. In high-temperature environments (such as engine compartments), high-temperature resistant silicone rubber sheathed cables should be selected and fixed with insulation brackets to reduce the impact of thermal radiation.
Low temperature working conditions (such as operations in cold regions) require special attention to cable flexibility, selecting sheath materials with low-temperature resistant formulas to ensure that bending performance can still be maintained in the corresponding environment and avoid embrittlement and cracking. At the same time, the laying path should be optimized to stay away from positions that are prone to mechanical impact, such as cabin doors that are frequently opened and closed.
In scenarios with severe vibration, such as construction machinery, a multi strand precision twisted copper wire structure is required, with the conductor twist pitch controlled within a fixed diameter range to enhance fatigue resistance. Anti vibration connectors should be used at the joints, and buffer fixing devices should be added to reduce vibration transmission.
The high electromagnetic interference environment requires strengthened shielding design, using a double-layer shielding (aluminum foil+woven mesh) structure, while achieving multi-point grounding, but avoiding the formation of grounding loops. In humid environments, IP67 waterproof connectors should be selected, and cable joints should be sealed with potting treatment.
